Abbey Business Interiors recognise our company has a responsibility to embrace sustainability and improve year on year our environmental credentials. By achieving the Planet Mark accreditation Abbey are committed to reducing our carbon emissions and exceed our business boundaries to invest in sustainable practices and projects around the UK. We encourage and inspire our employees, our suppliers and our clients to follow our lead.

Objectives

Through reducing the carbon footprint at its office by at least 5% every year, ABBEY BUSINESS INTERIORS will achieve significant greenhouse gas emission savings. We aspire to build on our initial reporting year on year, adding further detail to our footprint over time in order to better monitor the savings we are making. Our achievements will be communicated to employees, shareholders and clients, as well as our supply chain. ABBEY BUSINESS INTERIORS is carrying out an employee engagement programme to both raise awareness and reduce personal carbon footprints of our employees and its families.

Abbey Business Interiors commits to:

• Reducing total or normalised emissions by 5%

• Reducing total water use by 5%

• Improving data quality

• Improving social sustainability

ABBEY BUSINESS INTERIORS is committed to a sustainable future and will implement an Improvement Programme internally to spread awareness of this commitment and ensure the above stated targets are met.
